The View out Back

$3,000.00

In the Midwest where the Bible still grows now and then, there’s a familiar sight from any second story window. Often a blue barn marries a mossy silo, makes a baby grain storage. There are lines of crops, usually corn or beans, or alfalfa in some rough geometry surrounding the family. Pines and spruces here and there break the monotony of the lines. A faded distant gray-white neighbor farm gives the eye something to hold onto in a swirling circling sun all across the evening. Take your pick then: Either sleep to forget or listen to the cicada’s sleep.
