The Ubiquitous Game

Imagine this: Between your sleep and awakening you were standing. The space had narrowed and the walls were bending and a round table had been set up for a special game of pool. The pieces were cubes for a match of “thirteen” and the ladies all remote, in a mood to brood. The sticks were zigzags and the feeling was strange. But nevertheless you wanted in on this game. Because behind you was sleep, in front of you was awakening and in that diaphragm of meanings, this game was calling, no way to refuse your name.
